How to call a phone contact

If you’ve downloaded your phonebook, you can use simple voice commands to call any of your contacts by name.

  • Press the Voice button. SYNC® will ask for a command.
    *Overseas model shown.
  • Say: “Call<name>”.
    *Overseas model shown.
  • If there’s more than one number, SYNC® will ask you to say which number.
    e.g. Say: “Mobile, Home or Work”.
    *Overseas model shown.
  • If there’s more than one number in a category, SYNC® will ask you to say which number.
    e.g. Say: “Line 2”.
    *Overseas model shown.
  • To end your call, press and hold the red phone button on your steering wheel.
    *Overseas model shown.
  • Remember to say your phone contact names exactly as they appear such as Cos, Mark; Mark C or Cos, M.
